<bioghist altrender="biography" encodinganalog="545" id="a2">
	<head>Biographical Note</head>
	<p>Jerry Louis Carbone, Jr. was born and raised in New York, NY. He attended the Catholic University of America between 1955 and 1959, earning a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering. While at CUA, he was an active member of the Clipper Club (freshman through senior years, Vice-President senior year), served on the Dormitory Council, Student Council, Italian Club, and Y.C.S. (freshman year), The Tower student newspaper (junior year), was a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (A.S.C.E.) (Vice-President junior year, President senior year), the Inter-Engineering Council (I.E.C.) (Vice-President senior year), played baseball and basketball (junior and senior years), played intramural sports (freshman through senior years), and was on the Class Committees (freshman through senior years).</p>

<p>After graduation, Carbone lived in Maryland. He currently resides in Florida.</p>

	<p>This collection contains correspondence, a scrapbook, CUA and non-CUA publications, and memorabilia from 1955 to 1960. The scrapbook contains letters, announcements, photographs, programs, and dormitory room assignments.</p>
<p>This collection is divided into five series: 1) Correspondence, 2) Scrapbook, 3) Class Materials, 4) Publications, and 5) Memorabilia.</p>
