The collection includes travel and visitor information for Marian shrines, sanctuaries, churches, and cathedrals, as well as visitor information for towns or regions with travel destinations related to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Some materials in the collection were created for the purpose of Marian pilgrimages, primarily to the Holy Land or Europe.</abstract>

            <p>The Marian Library was established in 1943 by Marianists at the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. The library contains a comprehensive collection of materials related to the Blessed Virgin Mary (including books, visual resources, primary source materials, and multimedia) and aims to promote study, research, and devotion. The library maintains a website, The Mary Page, which may be found at

            <p>The Marian Travel and Tourism pamphlet collection contains printed ephemera, primarily pamphlets, but also brochures, maps, and guides to Marian destinations in the United States and internationally.
