         <p>This material consists of family legal papers from 1826 to 1900. Its primary content is deeds that document the exchange of property in Massachusetts and Connecticut. Also included are two wills and one folder of miscellaneous legal papers. Arrangement is chronological according to type.</p>
         <p>Note: These papers should be considered as a supplement to Series 3, Legal Papers of the Hills Family Papers.  See separate finding aid.</p>
